Back Home

Although visiting friends and family is fantastic and so much it is also nice to be back home doing everyday things.
Two princesses "checking e-mail"

Making pasta dough for lasagna.  Everyone makes pasta without a shirt on, right?

Yummy dinner!

Painting Daddy's toenails, different colors of course.

A little after dinner dance.

It is hard to see in this picture, but the girls were painting "on paper" but somehow their arms and legs were covered in paint too!

Our first red tomato

Those are big zucchinis

Marin helping Daddy with the tomatoes.

I think we are going to have enough.

Lettuce harvest

Even though we were away a lot the garden is looking pretty good.

Very focused mushroom chopping

Charlotte abandoned her cutting board and supervised instead.

Daddy's race - Escarpment Trail Run

There they go!

It was such a wet day we spent quite a while in this little coffee shop sipping hot chocolate.

And we played in the car.

It's a good thing this race only took a few hours!

Little cheerers ready for Daddy!

And he made it!

When the rain stopped it turned into a lovely afternoon.  The fog lifted and the sun came out.  Testing the water out.

Pants are off and the water feels good!

I guess we should have brought their swim suits!  Undies work well too.

"Making" lollipops.  This is from a blog I read and I thought the girls would love this project.

Taking off wrappers to fill the molds.

Ready to go in the oven.

The finished lollipops.

Playing while the lollipops cool.

Yum

More tomatoes

We have harvested well over 100 now. :)
