Rocky Mountain Hike

We decided to head up to Rocky Mountain National Park for a day hike, and the park was busier than we have ever seen it! We could not find any parking near the trailheads we wanted to go to so we ended up at a much lower trailhead. Even though we were way overdressed we had a wonderful hike to a few beaver ponds.

We now know we do not need to bring the kid carrier anymore...hard to believe it!

Our little scramblers will not stay on the ground.

These kiddos would have stayed at this pond for the whole day if we let them!

Eggs are ready to be colored.

Carrot Cupcakes for church.

Chocolate Cupcakes for church.

Happy Easter! The kids had to wait upstairs until everyone was awake...

Looks like we might have a letter from the Easter Bunny.

May I come in and have some eggs?

The Easter egg hunt is always very exciting.

Sassy pants

Time to open and sort.

April Fun

Timothy asked me to take him mountain biking so we headed out to Rabbit Mountain just outside of Lyons and had a blast!

The trail became a bit too rocky and steep for this mountain biker.

Turnaround time and boy was it breezy!

Timothy would ride his bike everyday if we had the time!

These two are hard at working making clams oreganata.

Soccer Saturday

Oh yeah, I'm going to kick this ball.

Timothy and I went for a walk on Pearl Street with some friends.

Can you smell the flowers on the tree?

One or Marin's pieces of artwork was featured in the St. Vrain School District Art Show!

Charlotte also had a piece featured!

A chilly start to the game.

Ready to go!

Tim and I went to Sunflower Farm, which is about 3 miles from our house, to visit the animals and play with some friends.

Each Wednesday morning we get together with a group of "toddler friends" who are all starting school next year, eek!

We did a girl/boy clothing swap with another family who has two boys and a girl and this is the outfit Tim put on with much enthusiasm when we unpacked the boxes.

Timothy very rarely goes anywhere without a car to hold. He often sleeps with them!
