Weekend in Boston

A weekend in Boston at the Hudsons = great times with friends, good food, so much fun with all the girls, wonderful memories...
sleepy girls

serious chat time with Tom

If only we had a video...Eliza and Marin were quite the noise makers.

Maury and Kirk, we can't wait to visit you in Nashville!

Where did it go?  I could have sworn I had a grape.

Tower time

Hmmm, a new chair to conquer.

I think Charlotte is Eliza's cheering section, knock it over, knock it over.

Happy Emma

Amy has everyone at attention.

Do you want to play Eliza?

Do you think those big girls are going to give the guitar a try?

I think they just might...eventually they all gave it a try and loved it!

Transplanting Seeds

Two weeks ago the girls helped me transplant our seedlings into larger cups.  Here are a few pictures from our project and that week around the house.
Hmm, I am not so sure about these beans.

Playing with Charlotte's walker.

Taking Marin's shopping cart for a spin.

Charlotte has not figured out how to turn around, but she realizes she can head back the other direction by going to the other side of the walker.

Mid-transition

All lined up and ready to go again!

Transplanting the seeds.

Another little helper.

Girls, what are you doing in the pantry???

All the girls.

So proud of herself for getting up in the chair.

Yeah!

Boy do these girls love each other!

Helping outside again...this was a good idea in theory, but it did not work for very long.

Weekend Adventures

A few of these pictures are from Mother's Day and the rest are from this past weekend.  We went on a great hike with "Dr. Marin" as she likes to be called these days, and to the 3rd annual cupcake festival in Gardiner, NY.  We entered two cupcakes in the amateur competition and unfortunately did not win, major bummer, but we still stand behind our cupcakes!

Our poor seedlings that need to be transplanted.

Look at how big the leaves are getting.

9 months old

I can see you, but I can't seem to get any closer!

Watching "that little guy" sit on a tree stump outside the window, and yes, it is normal for both of them to be standing on the chair.

A Mother's Day squeeze for Bonne Mere.

A happy mommy on Mother's Day.

Marin deciding that it is ok for Charlotte to hold one color while she paints with the rest.

No, I am not up to anything...and I promise I will not fall.

See, I can sit down, no problem.

Out for a hike at the Mohonk Preserve

Out for a run, does she ever walk??

The trail goes where???  Oh, just up the cliff, no problem girls, hang on!

Working our way up.

At the top

Marin and Daddy made it too!

Spring has definitely sprung.

Happy hikers

We forgot the summit shot!!  Here is a shot on the way back down.

At the cupcake festival.

If these were on the ground I do not think Marin would hesitate to step on them!

Staying dry as the rain comes and goes.

The gluten free portion of the festival.
