Summer Fun at Home

Ready for swimming at the rec center.
Charlotte picked out the clothes, dressed Tim and herself, and they worked together on a dance. :)

Charlotte is working on her makeup application technique.

A playdate with the O'Neills - Tim and Audrey are buddies, Marin and Lilly are on the same gymnastics team and the Charlottes are two peas in a pod!
Timothy making pie crust.
Charlotte working on the filling.

Time to roll out the dough. This takes serious concentration!

The finished pie, peaches and cream.
Daddy was out of town for 9 day trip and we really missed him.

Yeah!!!

Looks like some bunk beds are coming soon.

The top is done!

Final step is the ladder, what a big job.

Pre-Father's Day Weekend Fun

We started our Father's Day celebrations with a night at the Rockies courtesy of Accenture.

The Rockies won, making it worthwhile to stay until the very end...

Dinner at Matsuhisa the next night...best sushi ever! Our server sold the kids on these pretty cool Japanese sodas that are in a glass bottle that you pop a little glass ball in to open it.

Two kiddos squeezed into a selfie.
On Saturday we rented a boat on Horsetooth Reservoir. Although it was cooler and cloudy we had so much fun!

The girls took their paddle boards out for a spin.

I'm happy to stay in the boat and not get wet!

We could get used to this.

These two could explore all day! The pulled the board up on shore to look around.

Sleeping "baby" - the best way to end a boat ride.
