First Day of School and End of August Excitement

Timothy "helping" Marin brush her hair.

This girl is definitely ready for Kindergarten!

A few tomatoes from the garden.

Double shot, are you ready? Dr. Timothy is coming!

Grandma sent a few videos of trucks working at the lake house and Timothy watched them each at least coutnless times. He also wanted everyone else to watch them too!

Just hanging out...everyone loves Marin's hat!

First day of First Grade!

Working on the Magic School Bus science kit from Bonne Mere and Uncle Mike.

First day of Kindergarten!

Bonne Mere is here for a visit!

Everyone enjoys the swings.

Uh oh!

We love you so much Bonne Mere.

A round of Italian Sodas for everyone.

Truck, truck, truck...

This crew ran lap after lap with the vehicles.

YABS Camping Trip

The weekend after school began we had a relaxing get away camping with our YABS friends. This was the first time we have stayed at a group campsite and worked out really well!

Breakfast time

Check out the size of that fire ring!

Time to go fishing with the crew!

Greg supervising and helping all these little "flyfisherpeople".

Fishing is pretty awesome!

Some watchers

Marin and Charlotte love "taking care of" Sarah.

Daddy giving it a go.

All these kids did an amazing job getting dirty!

Time for a hike before heading home.

The beavers made some really impressive dams.

These kids...so much fun!

These girls see a rock and they have to climb it. Every. Single. Time.

Thanks for the lift!

Yeah! Everyone is looking at the camera and smiling!

Garden Fun

We have really enjoyed having a garden again. The combination of the drip lines and soaker hoses to water automatically and the strong Colorado sun has produced some amazing results! The kids run out every day to check for cherry tomatoes and strawberries and are rarely disappointed. Charlotte even likes to pick and eat the scallions!

Mid-July

So much swiss chard. We had 4 batches this size.

Our lovely toad that I scared by screeching too many times so he moved to our neighbors garden.

I picked these to make a dinner going to a friend earlier this week.
Timothy loves checking on the watermelons.  Mid-August - we had to add higher posts to tie up the tomatoes.

Sauce is coming soon.

There are 8 watermelons on this amazing vine right now, and our poor lemon tree is sprouting some new leaves finally.

Random Summer Pictures

The last few weeks of summer have flown by. School starts next week and although we are sad to see this fun summer end the girls are ready and excited.

Someone is ready for football season to start!

Fun surprise from Grandma and Grandpa!

Left Hand Creek has been so much fun to play in this summer. Since the flood it is shallow and sandy where we like to play.

How did our baby get so big?!

A hot day trip to Hammond's Candy Factory.

Is it a problem that our 5 year old can fit into 6-12 month shorts?

Pete has started running again! This was from his run up Pagoda Mountain, 14 miles is not too shabby.

Enjoying a colorado rain shower.

Timothy thinks Charlotte's boots are pretty cool.

Really Mom? This is ok for her to do to me?

Saturday morning crepe time.

"Elsa and Prince Charming are marrying."

A little post breakfast project.
I was busy and when I looked around this had happened in the dining room.

The finished project!

Family Dance Party

All three kids love to dance, but Timothy feels the music every time it is on and cannot help himself but to dance.
