Fun, Fun, Fun!

A few weekends ago our friends the Carlsons came over for dinner and boy did the kids have fun!  Here are a few snapshots of the track!

It looks like these two are up to something!

All three kids together, good boy Altai.

Painting is now one of our favorite activities.

Such a big girl in her jeans.

Two cute matcharoos

OK, we know football season is over, but the jerseys fit now!

Marin really wants to hold Charlotte by herself.

Oh yeah, I think Charlotte definitely wins the thigh contest!

Ready, hut!

And your tackled, at least according to two hand touch rules.

Valentine's Festivities

For many Valentine's Days while we were growing up Aunt Barb and Uncle Gene would come to Ithaca for the great cookie bake-off.  Aunt Barb would make a double-batch of cookie dough and we would spend an afternoon making and decorating cookies.  There was always a little cookie burnout by the end, but we had such a wonderful time making and eating the cookies.  My Mom even sent two Tupperware containers of the famous Valentine's cookies to me when I was in Australia!

The tradition goes on as the next generation got in on the action this year.  The girls loved it!  Thanks to Aunt Kimmy for the idea to get together!

All in pink and ready to make Valentine's

A cookie that Madeline made all by herself!

At least some of the frosting went on the cookies. :)

A visit with the Wahteras

This past weekend the Wahteras made the trek to Poughkeepsie and we had a wonderful visit.  The girls enjoyed playing and it is very fun to get to know sweet Eliza better.

Happy baby who loves to stand.

Bath time for the girls

Hoodie time

I am not sure what they are saying, but that is an intense look!

Yummy fingers!

That is quite a tongue Ms. Eliza.

Outside Play

As you know we have had so much snow, which means outside fun too!
Helping Daddy shovel out the car.

Daddy and Marin (that is the top of her hat next to Pete) walking in front of our house in all of the snow!

The cut in the trees in Beacon where an incline use to be.  Pete put on his skis and gave this run a try.  Although they were the worst conditions ever, he enjoyed scoping out other potential areas to ski.

Playing in the car while Daddy skis.  Both girls slept for most of the hour he was gone.

Is that an igloo?

Time to check it out.

This is really neat and quite cozy inside.  Good work Dad.

The view from inside.

After each snow storm Pete shoveled the deck resulting in this huge pile of snow.

Mommy and Marin's turn

Charlotte loves to play outside.
