California Day 2

The second day of our spring break trip we ventured into San Francisco. It was a full and exciting day with the highlight being the kids first visit to the Pacific Ocean.

GF waffles at the Grease Box, Timothy approves!

A visit to China Beach

Even though it was pretty chilly and grey there isn't anything that will keep these girls from playing in the ocean.

They call this game Don't Get Wet.

Hi! We are not wet at all!

The Golden Gate Bridge is in the background of this picture.

We're going to stay out of the water today.

The fog rolled out a little.

oops!

"Forget about don't get wet, let's play in the water!" We brought extra pants knowing these two would probably get wet, but we should have brought bathing suits or a full change of clothes!

Military remains we stumbled upon.

Thank you fellow tourist for taking a picture of our family in front of the Golden Gate Bridge without the bridge in it. ;)

We went on a little scramble to explore the area.

Driving down Lombard Street in San Francisco.

It is hard to capture how curvy this street is!

A view from below as we drove away.

A stop by a submarine and battleship by the Fisherman's Wharf.
Our trusty stroller is still holding up even after rolling up and down San Francisco streets with all three kids! A family with one child in this same stroller stopped to see how we manage this set-up.

Gelato time!
We met up with Bonne Mere for dinner. These girls loved every minute of her attention!

I'd say they were tired out by this busy day!
