Charlotte Turns Four!

Instead of a party, Charlotte asked for a special family activity. A few days before her big day she decided the activity should be to go real rock climbing. Daddy picked the perfect climb that was just high enough and hard enough to be super fun and not scary. We had a great time and the girls loved climbing. They are excited to go again soon! We had family party with presents and cake the next day on her actual birthday.

Ready to hike to the climb.

There it is the amphitheater - our destination.

We made it, time for snack.

Our big 4 year old.

Hey Daddy!

Marin ready to go first, per Charlotte's request.

Carefully watching Daddy make his double back figure eight knot.

Repelling down was the hardest part!

Oh yeah, that was so much fun!

I am ready to give this a try.

Charlotte was too light to be able to repel so we tied a trailing rope on her to pull her down when she was done.

Yeah Daddy, that was fun!

Can I go again, and again, and again....

I climbed up that?

Woohooo!

Heading back to the car.

One Elsa cake please - Daddy sure delivered on this one.

What a lucky birthday girl.

Tiny gum and a candy necklace, wowee.

Our little ballerina now has a real ballerina outfit.

What a day!

A little playtime while Charlotte naps.
