Baking, Hiking, Climbing, Biking, Garden Harvesting....

The girls wanted to make star shaped scones so I gave them some waxed paper and a cookie cutter and they did it after helping make the dough.

The end result was worth the effort!

I had to include this because Charlotte is always singing,!

Seasoning our first batch of sauce from our garden this year.

Experimenting with baking soda and vinegar

Heading out of a hike at the Gunks.  I think Marin is going to be our guide today.

Checking out a big pile of shale.

Adding a few more rocks to her backpack.

Checking out a bouldering spot.

Marin thinks this looks like a great place to climb.

Up on the ledge.

I can do this too!

One proud little girl.

Make that two, what a climb!  I think it is time to buy two child harnesses.

This tomato was too beautiful to put in sauce, I ate it right then and there.

The rest of our basil harvest getting ready for pesto.

Marin ready for her first day of preschool.

Charlotte is not so sure she likes this preschool idea.

Charlotte has figured out how to ride her bike by pedaling with one foot then the other since she cannot reach the pedals continuously.

A little painting project

I think a laundry basket is the perfect place for a snack, don't you?

Ready for a run with Daddy.

Yummy ice cream sandwiches.  We have had a request to make these again already!

Out for a ride.

Charlotte doing a little coloring while she waits her turn to ride the bike.

I'm pedaling!!!
