Apple Picking with School and Friends

This Fall we enjoyed going apple picking twice, once with Marin's school and once with our friends!  As the leaves begin to change and the smell of baking apples and donuts fill the air we find we cannot help but get excited for the change of season.

Taste testing a homemade apple cider donut.

Who is in the little pumpkin house?

Caleb and Thomas with M and C enjoying donuts and cider.

The apple orchard had a "tiny town" that was just the right size .

This is the general store that Marin thought looked rather like a wine tasting room.

Checking out the chickens.

There were a few horses in this paddock.

Yummy golden delicious apples, freshly picked!

Yeah, that was a great day!

One very tired apple picker.

This apple orchard has a great playground.

This is a silly llama!

We never took a picture of all the kids in our Poughkeepsie play group, but they are almost all in this photo. Charlotte, Marin, Nicolas, Miranda, Joseph, Giovani and Lauren.

A few smiling faces.

Miranda, Marin and Nicolas going in for some apples.

Yum
