Reaching Milestones

There are some weeks that are special, but not a lot out of the ordinary happens.  This past week has been a milestone week for the Bronskis.  Pete qualified for, raced in and crossed the finish line of the Xterra National Championships and Marin took her first steps.  I could not be more proud of my family!  :)   WARNING - there are a lot of pictures.

Although it does not count as a milestone, I won a raffle prize from Kimberly-Clark and we never win anything!

There was an art display in Ogden, UT with painted horses.  Marin picked this one out as her favorite.

This was 133's favorite - racing and mountains - does it get any better?!

Pete had a 101.8 fever the night before the race(much better than the 103.4 the night before!), but was ready to go on Saturday morning.  He worked way too hard to let a little fever get in his way!

The racers are off!  Do you see the helicopter in the distance? They were filming the race.

Here he comes out of the water

Heading out on the bike and looking good

Coming into transition after a long bike ride, the scenery was fantastic.

The bike ride always allows plenty of time for Marin and Mommy to play.

It is way too bright out here!

Time for the run

And a nap for little sweet pea

Pete finished strong, but was glad to be done.

Racing really is a family sport so we thought we should all be under the finish line!

The next day we took a hike that left from downtown Ogden.  Marin did not stay awake for long when we started walking.

It is so wonderful to be able to go out for a hike and goof around!

Enjoying the fresh air.

This 300 foot high waterfall was the end of the hike.

Dining with BlaBla

Enjoying quality time with Dad

Silly time, but can you see Marin's tooth?  It is the bottom left tooth.

It's here!  We are official co-authors.

Marin loves her walker

Watch her go!  These are literally her first steps.
