We are fortunate to have the opportunity to visit some pretty amazing places, which makes it difficult to say that one trip is the absolute best ever. However, our camping trip to McInnis Canyon just might fit the bill for our best family camping trip to date. We found the perfect dispersed camping site, the scenery was incredible, and we all had a blast exploring the area every day of the trip.

| The mud was so thick and sludgy at the base of where the waterfall would be that it was just like earth clay. The kids had a blast playing with the muck. |

| Or not so tired since about 1.5 hours after we returned from our big hike they wanted to head out again to explore in a different direction. They found this really cool ledge that actually connected (although way to thin to travel on) to the high point we went to on our first hike. |
