Nymph Lake Hike

One of Pete's friends from college was in town and we were scheduled to meet up in Estes Park so we thought we would take the opportunity to go for a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park. It happened to be the weekend of the park's 100 year anniversary and it was crazy busy! We ended up snagging a parking spot in an overflow lot and were able to take a shuttle to a trail head. The highlight for the kids was the bus ride, but the hike was fun too!

Marin often gives Charlotte a lift so she can rest her legs since she has been evicted from the backpack carrier.

Nymph Lake

This a the root structure of a tree that fell down a long time ago.

Our rock climbers always want to be up on top!

This spot looks great for a rest.

This view never gets old.

Meeting up with Aaron at the Stanley Hotel. We did not have a spare pair of clothes for Timothy and he unfortunately spilled a water bottle on himself...a diaper and sweatshirt had to do!
