A recent weekend we had unseasonably warm weather so we decided to drive up to Rocky Mountain National Park to see the leaves and enjoy the cooler temps. Unfortunately, the traffic was so bad we stopped in Lyons (only 15 minutes from our house and it took us 45 minutes to get there) and we had a very hot hike. The kids were having a tired leg day so it was all for the best that we did not drive up to the park.
