Fall in Colorado

The weeks have really flown by since our return to Colorado. We returned from our travels the day after the 500 year flood happened. We were fortunate in that the mandatory evacuation of our neighborhood lifted before we arrived and our home was safe and dry. Life quickly took off with the first day of preschool for Charlotte,  the change of seasons and even our first snow!

Watching the rain continue to fall on Sunday, September 15.

It is always important to wear "safety" goggles!

Big sister support for Charlotte's first day of school

Such a big girl!

The girls let Altai out and in all by themselves now.

Charlotte channeling her inner Altai, finding a sunspot to rest in.

Marin and Bunny have been a bit inseparable these days.

Charlotte has decided to abandon clothes for the time being.

28 weeks - here we are third trimester!

Waxing leaves that we gathered in the neighborhood.

All done and they look beautiful!

Charlotte posing by a new big puzzle from Uncle Mike.

Feeling Baby Brother move around.

Silly time with Daddy.

Marin ready for school with a braided crown and a necklace from Mommy's jewelry box.

Tasting the first snow of the season.

This is so cool - we are excited for winter!

The snowman C and I worked on before the sun came out and the weather returned to the 60s.

Modeling her wizard-princess costume.

These little monkeys climb on everything!

Marin wanted me to play tag with her in the backyard and I suggested she run a race instead - here she goes! There is only so much tag I can play these days. :)

The race suggestions did not cut it the next day...this girl loves to play tag!

Leaves on our tree in the backyard.

Setting up a "craft fair"

A little frosting maker carefully adding the butter to the buttercream frosting for our Oktoberfest party.

Marin looking pretty cool with Mommy's socks on as tights!
