The Big Move

On November 3 our amazing family pulled together to help us pack up our house in Poughkeepsie in preparation for our move back to Colorado. It was a tough day and weekend physically and emotionally, but even though we are going to be apart geographically we will remain very close.

The work crew at the end of a long day.

The next morning at Karen and Peter's house in NJ.

On November 5 we checked out of our Vassar House and loaded up the car for our long drive out to CO.

We had a pit-stop in Nashville to see the Wahteras! Marin, Charlotte and Eliza rocking away.

The swing in their backyard was a HUGE hit.

I have been informed that "Kirk give the best underdogs in the world." The bar has been set!

Driving by the arch in St. Louis.

Silly girls about half way across the country.

Welcome to Kansas - we have hit the plains.

One afternoon it was so warm (and we all could use a break form the car) we stopped at a rest area where we played in the leaves for a while.

There were huge wind farms in Kansas.

Happy 9th Anniversary! The dinner was less than stellar, but the company was superb.

We made it!

The day after we arrived it snowed! This is the patio of our temporary house.
