Christmas in Ithaca and Happy New Year

After a great visit to Long Island we headed North to Ithaca where we celebrated Christmas with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Karla and Aunt Sandy. The kids (and Mommy and Daddy too) had a great time opening another stocking, more presents and visiting with family!! Next we headed down to NJ to celebrate New Year's Eve with Aunt KK, Uncle Peter, Abby and Madeline. Abby, Marin and Charlotte made it to midnight as we welcomed 2012. After all of our travel we enjoyed a week at home playing with our new toys and preparing for our vacation.

Getting a little assistance with a pen necklace.

Waiting patiently for her Charlotte snow globe.

A computer for Marin!!

Charlotte showing us how to roar like a lion (although in Charlotte's book, everything roars these days.)

Marin trying out her sleeping bag.

A little love for Neeka.

Time to relax with Powder.

Playing train with Grandpa and Cinderella. Cinderella loves to sit on the train when it stops!

Giving all of the animals a blast of hot air from the heater.

Yes Aunt Karla, I think this is the perfect place for us to play right in front of the front door.

Marin is busy "looking up a recipe" on her computer while standing in her kitchen.

10pm and going strong!

Aunt KK with her girls.

Two sleeping girls.

Back home trying out our last Christmas present that was waiting for us.

Playing with the box is almost as fun as the wagon!

Lights in the box.

Feeding Apple dinner.

Charlotte's turn to take a taste.

Everyone working together on washing the dishes.

The wagon works great outside too!

Decorating the box house.

Matcharoos in their big girl jeans.

The girls keeping warm in their Berkeley sweatshirts and getting excited for vacation time when they can wear their crocs without socks!

Haircuts!! When I was getting ready to trim Charlotte's hair, Marin asked for a short haircut.

Charlotte's first haircut.

Painting on the paper was too confining, they decided to move to the house.
