Silly Time Around the House

Here are random pictures from the end of September and beginning of October.  Because each day is consumed with shopping, prepping and taking pictures of food the amount of playtime is limited.  We have been working on more focused "projects" as Marin calls them and the girls have really enjoyed this time.  We also spent the night at the Romero's when we were going to pick Pete up at the airport after a weekend in Dallas for a gluten-free expo, which was so much fun!

Mixing together different peas and beans from our pantry.

Experimenting with the dried peas.

The cups with holes in the bottom came out after this to see that different sized peas fit through larger and smaller holes.

Look at my tooth!

Happy girl with crazy hair.

Playing with gluten free play dough that we made.

Look what we can do!

It is so much fun to play with my cousins!!

Abby is strong enough to carry Madeline and Marin!

All ready for bed.

The girls helped unpack Daddy's bag...

Charlotte "Can I wear two shirts?" Marin "These 'shorts' are hard to keep up!"

Mommy, look at us!!

Hard at work on stickers and pictures that came in the mail from Bonne Mere.

Building a terrarium from everything we could find in our backyard. (This great idea came from my friend Gretchen.)

Charlotte checking the terrariums out after her nap.

Two girls hard at work on the dishes.

Marin started taking gymnastics a few weeks ago and now both girls are busy practicing forward rolls and cartwheels.

A little help from Mommy.

Tada!

Marin's turn.

That was great bedtime fun!

My little tomatillo peeler helpers.

That is a huge pot of salsa verde.
Taking a kitchen break to do some reading.

Playing in pretend "Red, green, yellow, blue, pie soup" that Marin made and portioned up for Charlotte, herself and me.

That is a lot of salsa verde!!

The girls love playing with Altai and he is starting to enjoy their attention.

Playtime after breakfast...in one of the toy boxes.

All the colors of the rainbow made of corn!

Shake, shake, shake.

Out for a stroll.

Grass is really great stuff.

A little bubble tea break in town before our walk back home.

Running up the hill.

Man...she is gone again!!

Yum, cream cheese frosting.  A little for Charlotte.

A little for Marin.

Enough for both of us, yum.
